10% Text Analysis and Standards

15% Extended Skills and Standards

25% Quizzes, Mid-assessments, Projects

50% Post Assessments & Culminating Tasks (Essays & Short Stories)

• Supply List 
• 2 pocket folders
• 2 notebooks (marble)
• #2 pencils, and individual sharpener if not utilizing mechanical pencils
• Pens
• 1 Pack of loose-leaf paper
• Highlighters
• Post-it notes
• Index cards (small pack)
• Colored Pencils (12 pack is sufficient)
• 1 box of tissues OR 1 roll of paper towels – to be collected by the homeroom teacher for classroom use – may be asked mid-year to bring same item again, depending on classroom usage
• Suggested/Optional items: Markers (12 pack); Scotch Tape; Water Bottle; Individual hand sanitizer or hand wipes; Individual pack of tissues; headphones/earbuds with cord to attach to laptop or IPad; Scientific Calculator for use at home.
